• We offer services to clients who are 18 years of age or older and who live in Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia (by law you must be physically present in their province in order to receive services)

  • We offer both virtual services (via a web-based secure, PHIPA compliant, healthcare video platform with end-to-end encryption) and in-person services at our downtown Toronto clinic location (39 Madison Ave - closest intersection is Bloor and Spadina)

  • Our services are not covered by OHIP and we do not currently offer a sliding fee scale. Our providers are registered health professionals and extended benefits may cover some or all of your services with us (please find out the limits and requirements of your plans coverage)

  • Fees: Comprehensive DBT consists of weekly or biweekly individual therapy sessions ($230-280/session), a weekly 2-hour DBT Skills Training Group ($170/session for 24 weeks) as well as access to your therapist for phone coaching between your sessions (offered at no charge). Couples therapy fees are $250-280/session.

  • Some clients can benefit from DBT-informed treatment that consists of individual therapy only (we will discuss and determine this during your intake). Attendance of individual therapy at our clinic or with another therapist is required for participation in the DBT Skills Training Group

Ada (She/Her) joins The Ontario DBT Centre team with 5 years of administrative and office management experience along with a lifelong passion for cultivating long lasting connections with people and helping them on their journeys. She has a background in Social Science and speaks fluent Spanish and English. Her warm, compassionate, and enthusiastic nature will greet clients at every interaction. Ada is a visual artist and loves exploring different mediums. You might bump into her at a vintage market or a plant shop, finding new additions to her ever growing plant collection. She holds the family’s official birthday cake maker post with joy and often daydreams about new cake recipes to experiment with.

Nika Parsa (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Psychotherapy from McMaster University.

Nika has experience providing individual and group therapy in community and private practice settings, and supports clients navigating addiction, self-harm, borderline personality disorder, and mood and anxiety disorders. Nika strives to hold a warm, inclusive, and collaborative space where clients feel supported in creating meaningful change and building a life worth living.

Nika enjoys attending hot pilates, going on long hikes, and exploring new restaurants with her friends. She also loves spending time cuddling with her cat, Patricio.
